Simple and novel synthetic method to mixed-donor podand

چکیده
An efficient method for the synthesis of new compounds of dibenzo podand containing mixed-donor atom is described. The key starting materials for these podand was successfully prepared in 92% yield from 2aminophenol and benzaldehyde in water. The structures of these new compounds were confirmed on the basis of IR, 1 H NMR and 13 C NMR and Ms spectroscopic data.
